2012 Seacoast CFAC Lineup Announced!!

Dust of your dancing shoes and get ready to rock out to the musical stylings of this year’s CFAC bands!!

TRUFFLE.

Truffle is David Bailey (bass, vocals), Ned Chase (mandolin, guitar, lap steel & vocals), Mike Gendron (drums), and Dave Gerard (vocals, electric & resonator guitars). Truffle has achieved widespread popularity by headlining many respected venues as well as sharing the stage with international acts as Little Feat, Phish, The Band, Dave Matthew’s Band, David Lindley, The Radiators, and Blues Traveler to name only a few.

Their sound, a mix of swampy soul, R&B, Bluegrass, New Orleans grooves, and World music, has been stewing in a pot for years, and is ever changing. Their live show, never dictated by a set list, is eclectic and different every night. You need to experience it for yourself!

BLISS.

With a sound and talent that has been compared to that of the Indigo Girls, Bliss is made up of four women—Kristan Bishop, Karen Larson, Cathy O’Brien and Carolyn Hutton—who play two guitars, a violin and a mandolin. Playing a variety of originals, blues, folk, country and bluegrass songs, the group came together in March of 2007 to open for The Commitments at the Ioka Theatre in Exeter, NH. The women, all Durham or Madbury residents, have since played sold-out shows in venues like Mill Pond Center Theatre, Three Chimney’s Inn Terrace, Wine Cellar Farms First Annual Womenade Music Festival and Little River Music Festival. Shine On, an original by Bliss, has also been featured on WXRV, the River.
