All proceeds from the 2012 Seacoast Concert for a Cure will benefit the following local cancer support programs:
BreastCancerStories.org is a Portsmouth, NH non-profit organization that provides support, hope & encouragement to local breast cancer patients and their family members through community-based programs aimed toward wellness. Working with the hospitals in the greater seacoast area, their new My Breast Cancer Support programs help to ease a patient’s discomfort as they begin to embrace their new normal.
On Belay is a program for children ages 10 – 18 years who have or are facing the trials of a parent’s, or loved one’s diagnosis of cancer or other life-changing illnesses. On Belay supports and challenges participants to reach new heights, while building self-awareness and self-esteem in a supportive, community environment with a day of challenges, high ropes course and team building activities.
